Dear Friend,
The year 2007 has spelled out troubled times for many of
us through out the world and the children always receive
the worst. You always hear some director of a group or
association say "If we can save one person it was worth it."
They are right, however most of these people who make these
remarks are government funded. Well the West End Sports
Association (WESA) or West End Youth and Adult Services
have been saving hundreds and hundreds of disadvantaged
kids for over 30 years.
Children are the future of the world. Today's children
are tomorrow's adult society. That is why it is important
that young people are given the support and guidance to
empower them with a healthy life style and the appropriate
social skills for their future. As responsible adults we
must give of ourselves in whatever capacity to ensure that
all youth are given what many of us take for granted;
love of a family, decent living conditions, proper
nutrition and education.
